Originally from Hot Springs, Arkansas, with a graphic designer and an art teacher as a mother art has always been a major influence on my life. Once in high school I decided to pursue art as a career. I graduated Arkansas State University and obtained a Bachelors in Fine Arts with an emphasis in painting and drawing. There I was honored to have been apart of the 2017 Senior Exhibition hosted at the Bradbury Art Museum. 

    I create art to feel connected to the world. Typically, my favorite subjects to use in my artwork are people. I’ve discovered through painting and drawing other people that I can capture how that person conveys particular emotions that I struggle with expressing myself. I want the viewers of my art to feel a sense of honesty and the opportunity to relate to a person or situation in which I produce. So that its not just another picture to look at, but an encounter with someone who understands.
